I’ve been visiting since the days of paper tickets, back when Magic Kingdom was the only park! My earliest memories of Disney started when I was 5 years old and have grown every year after. My family would take trips to Florida and California to visit our favourite Mouse whenever possible. Having a family of my own now, we’ve carried that tradition on with our two young daughters. From the adventures of camping in our trailer at Fort Wilderness to staying at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Disney Resorts, our family has enjoyed everything The Wonderful World of Disney has to offer. Hi – I’m Liz Bardowell.  I fell in love with Disney Parks when I first visited Walt Disney World on a mother/son trip in 2004.   We had such a great time, I decided to return 2 years later with all 3 of my children.   As a single mother, travelling on my own with children was daunting but cast members throughout the parks and resorts were so friendly and helpful, they made our trip truly memorable.

Since that time, we’ve had many more trips to Walt Disney World to celebrate birthdays and graduations, participate in RunDisney events, and attend special events such as Hallowe’en and Christmas parties and festivals at EPCOT.  In 2016, we took our first cruise and we’ve been hooked on Disney Cruise Line ever since, sailing several times in the Caribbean and Bahamas as well as Alaska.  Although my children are now young adults, they still love Disney trips.
